About Me

I was born in Jamaica, grew up in the Bronx and lived for 22 years in Europe: 10 in Barcelona, 4 in Madrid and 8 in London.

I am a US citizen.

I am also a UK citizen.

I graduated from Yale College '96 (magna cum laude, Phi Beta Kappa).

I graduated from Yale Law School '99 before clerking for then Chief Judge Harry T. Edwards on the DC Circuit Court of Appeals.

I've worked as an associate at various white-shoe law firms in NY, LA, DC, London, Barcelona and Madrid.

I am a VC-backed, serial entrepreneur who successfully exited my 2nd company.

I am an investor who worked at a European corporate venture capital fund and accelerator, where I managed a $1.6 billion portfolio.

I have been a visiting professor of entrepreneurship at Yale Law School. I have also been an associate professor of entrepreneurship at IE Business School and IE Law School, and I have been invited to speak at Stanford Law School, Oxford University, Cambridge University and INSEAD.

I have been twice recognized by the Powerlist as one of Britain's most influential people of African and Afro-Caribbean descent and by The Financial Times as one of the top 100 LGBT executives.

I serve on various boards and investment committees.

I've lived in 4 countries and travelled to 68.
